I found this video on YouTube. It isn't mine but I think the song fits Bobby and Pam perfectly and the video is wonderful and should be shared.

Just wanted to share... [14 Sep 2006|01:06pm]

A few years back, some friends and I decided that for a theatre project, we would do a Dallas parody. I thought fans of the show might enjoy it. Here's the link:

Between Heaven & Hell

(I play Celeste, the Sue Ellen-like character.)

This community seems dead but.... [26 Feb 2006|10:04am]

Once upon a time, there was a new prime time soap opera called Titans. I just looked it up on the internet movie database to learn the title. You can learn about it if you want (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0243732/). All right, so I thought this was the greatest show ever before it was canceled mid-season. And, my parents watched it with me one night and they both said how much the show reminded them of Dallas. So I asked the to tell me some things about Dallas and the show sounded really, really, really good. And, I lamented the fact that I was only a little kid when it was on and had missed my chance to watch it. Then, I saw the DVD set of the first and second season for sale and I bought it. And, now I am completely obsessed with it. It's currently my favorite show.

I have a problem though. I want to talk with people about it but I have only seen the first four seasons and I am so scared of spoilers. If I know what's going to happen, it totally ruins the moment for me. But my loneliness for other Dallas fans has led me to this community, even though I am terrified of post-season 4 information. Last week, I was terrified of post-season 3 information.

Also, I am a rabid Sue Ellen/J.R. shipper. I have an insane affection for this pairing.

This community seems dead but if anyone wants to talk to me about season 4 which I just finished watching that would be great.

Oh and I have made some Dallas icons for 100_anything that I'll post. Even though, I'm not all that great at making icons but I am struggling to improve.

Barbara Bel Geddes Dies at age 82. [13 Aug 2005|12:02am]

[ mood | nostalgic ]

Best known for her amazing portrayal of Miss Ellie, Barbara Bel Geddes
will be remembered and missed.
She portrayed such a strong woman, with
award-winning episodes in which she faced dealing with breast cancer.
My favorite scenes were the ones in which she stood up to J. R. and Jock,
speaking so eloquently what was on her mind.
Also, showing her tender, compassionate side toward Bobby, and always
showing strength of character in adversity.
Barbara Bel Geddes gave Miss Ellie dignity
throughout the series.

Mystery or Error? [10 Jun 2005|05:38am]

[ mood | curious ]

Why didn't the story line change right after Digger dies.

After a couple of miscarriages, Pam finds out that she has inherited from her father, Digger Barnes, a fatal disease in children.
They even have Little John, Suellen's baby, (later John Ross), tested for the disease, in case Clif is the father and could pass on the disease.

The story lines evolves as Pam reveals this to Bobby, deciding to never have a child.

Subsequently, on Digger's death bed, in Pam's presence, he reveals that he is not Pam's father, and murdered Pam's real father in a fight.

So, nobody picks up that Pam is no longer a carrier of this disease and could therefore have a baby, with no more disease to worry about.

Instead she has a breakdown, is hospitalized, following an attempt to leap from a building.

In later episodes drama surrounds her adoption of Christopher, etc.

So, I wonder when this omission was discovered.

Seems like I heard it was revealed by a viewer.

They changed the reason, I think, saying Pam wouldn't try to become pregnant on account of her
previous miscarriages. But, isn't this odd?

Anyone know more about this?

I don't even know if people post here, since the last entries are in 2004.

I absolutely love the Dallas series.
Ibegan watching it every week when the series began
throughout the rest of the seasons until the series ended.
I watched the specials, and especially, the Dallas reunion special, "Welcome Back to South Fork." when it aired in November.
I loved the interviews, the recaps, the scenes, the fun, the humor, the drama.
For me, the Dallas TV show never really ends. Smile.
I am not crazy, just loyal and devoted.

Dallas on DVD [08 Jan 2004|09:58am]

I'm not sure if this old news, but Ultimate Dallas and TV Shows on DVD are announcing that the first season of Dallas will be out on DVD in the UK and US sometime by the end of 2004... Keep an eye out!

From the TVShowsonDVD website:
"Warner Bros Home Video has plans to release the first season of Dallas on DVD before the end of 2004.

Many visitors to UltimateDallas.com have read the news that region 2 will see the first season released on DVD in August/September, 2004. Warner Bros has not set a US release date for the set, but it will be released before the end of the year, possibly even before the region 2 DVD release."
